The Terrors of the Lusca

Bukavac

The Bloop

In the film, a pregnant Sofia is forced to team up with her abusive ex-husband and his more reasonable superior to investigate the presence of a sea monster terrorizing the North Atlantic. The Bloop opened in theaters on July 31st, 2024; the film was very well-received by critics and audiences, who praised the action sequences and the performances of Serratos and Hayek. However, it was a box-office disappointment, grossing only $472 million worldwide, failing to break-even of its $178 million budget. Another follow-up entitled Bukavac was released the following year, while a proper sequel to The Serpent entitled The Terrors of the Lusca is in development

The Serpent
The Serpent is a 2024 science fiction action film written and directed by Lexi Alexander and produced by Zack Snyder, Jerry Bruckheimer, and Gore Verbinski. Based on the Sea Serpent folklore creature, it is the first installment in the Sea Monsters Universe. The film stars Sasha Calle and Ruby Rose as well as an ensemble cast of Anthony Ramos, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Ron Livingston, Viola Davis, Laurence Fishburne, Idris Elba, Salma Hayek, Michael Keaton, and Bradley Whitford. Its story follows a young biologist and professional diver, and an ex-navy scout swimmer who must go on a near-suicide mission to destroy a dangerous serpent in the North Atlantic. The Serpent opened in theaters on January 15th, 2024; the film grossed $891 million worldwide and received universal acclaim, with praise for its visual effects, score, the action sequences, emotional weight, and the performances of Calle and Rose. Two follow-ups set before this films events were also produced; the first, entitled the Bloop, was released six months later, and second, entitled Bukavac, was released one year later. A proper sequel entitled The Terrors of the Lusca is set to be released one month after Bukavac.

I Am Vengeance
I Am Vengeance is a 2025 American gothic action thriller film written and directed by Adam Wingard and produced by Zack Snyder and Robert Eggers. It is heavily influenced by Norse Mythology. The film stars Emma Watson and Everleigh McDonell alongside Ethan Hawke, Sam Neill, Willem Dafoe, Djimon Hounsou, Anya Taylor-Joy, Michael Caine, and Cate Blanchett. Its story follows a widowed hunter who raises her young daughter in the Icelandic snow forests. When she discovers that she is the child of a goddess, and her daughter gets kidnapped by her own half-brother, she goes on a rampage to get her back while also studying who she really was. I Am Vengeance opened in theaters on January 16th, 2025; it was a financial success, grossing $1.45 billion worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing release of 2025. The Age of Krypton
The Age of Krypton is an American science fiction superhero drama television series created and developed by Zack Snyder, based on the DC Comics Kryptonian race, as well as Kara Zor-El. It is not related to either the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) or James Gunn's upcoming DC Universe, instead focusing on different versions of the characters with the exception of Kara Zor-El and General Zod. will consist of six seasons, all of which will focus on both the Kryptonian Wars and the impending demise of the planet. The series stars Sasha Calle and Michael Shannon who reprise their roles as Kara Zor-El and General Zod from the DCEU in different interpretations, alongside Josh Brolin, William Nadylam, Ryan Gosling, Dan Stevens, Evan Peters, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Penélope Cruz. The pilot episode, A Darkness Begins, aired on July 14th, 2024; the series received acclaim from critics, fans, and audiences, who praised the storytelling, cinematography, action sequences, Snyder's writing and direction, visual effects, emotional weight, Calle and Shannon's performances, characters, innovative war scenes, and the score.
