  • misterwolf @nickienicks @castingsinmyblood @otsutsuki @pumpkinchowcorg and @robertcooper It's time for my first sports film! Welcome to Horizon, partially named after the Forza Horizon video games, and it's actually based on those while also focusing on another lesbian relationship. I do recommend tissues for this one if it's personal for you, but it's an emotional story anyway. Enjoy!

  • misterwolf Ten years later in 2025, Aaliyah now lives with her father Mark and younger brother Javi. She is determined to honor her mother's legacy and become a racer; Mark, after suffering through a series of turndowns finding a professional racing trainer, recalls that his children's godfather Shawn Zimmerman is a trainer and is both super supportive and extremely talented in his work. Shawn agrees to train Aaliyah when he is told that she desires to live up to her family's name.

  • misterwolf He introduces Aaliyah to Amara, whom he is also training. The two girls immediately bond, though Aaliyah feels something towards Amara, even explaining to Javi that she is the most beautiful girl she has ever seen. She decides to keep it a secret until she and Amara begin to know each other better.

  • misterwolf Aaliyah later learns from Shawn's sister Lillian that Amara is a lesbian after she reveals to Lillian that she feels strange towards her fellow trainee; over the weeks and months, Aaliyah and Amara bond further, eventually becoming best friends. Meanwhile, Warren Davidson deduces who Aaliyah is and mockingly introduces himself to her. When she insults his rudeness, he slanders and rants about her mother, causing her and Amara to clash with him. During their first racing practice, Warren easily defeats Aaliyah, but Amara is able to turn the tables when she defeats him in Aaliyah's place.

  • misterwolf Aaliyah opens up to Amara about her mother's death; when she begins to break down, Amara comforts her. Aaliyah is able to finally reveal her feelings for Amara, who returns those feelings, and the two girls kiss. Now romantic partners, they vow to humiliate Warren by winning the Horizon championship. Shawn learns of the romance between Aaliyah and Amara, and gladly supports them for who they are, as he is caring and understanding.

  • misterwolf During the next practices, Aaliyah and Amara improve their speed, but during their first real race, Warren defeats them, angering Shawn so much that he berates Warren for disregarding the rules of the Horizon Professional Racing. Warren's equally ruthless cousin Harrison Williams immediately sides with Aaliyah and Amara when he realizes who Warren really is.

  • misterwolf With Scott Zuckerberg and CEO Cliff Farley's help, Shawn oversees Aaliyah and Amara training for the final race. As she retires to her camper, Warren jumps Aaliyah, having deduced that she and Amara are lovers; he reveals that the car who hit Aaliyah's mother was no accident, and this causes her to realize that Warren killed her mother. He then tries to rape her, but Shawn and Amara arrive and knock him unconscious, though not before he breaks Amara's left arm to prevent her from participating in the race. Shawn attempts to call the police, but Aaliyah stops him, reminding him that the race cannot be cancelled. As the final race of the Horizon championship is about to begin, Aaliyah is gifted by Javi and Mark her mother's black red-striped 2010 Dodge Challenger, telling her that it belongs to her now. The race begins, with Aaliyah gaining on Warren as the first lap ends; as the second begins, she realizes that Warren is about her mother's accident, but she pays attention and speeds up, preventing him from pinning her. As the next four laps end, the final lap begins with Aaliyah and Warren taking the lead; Warren attempts to ram Aaliyah, but she fights back and makes him lose control, causing him to lose a wheel and enabling her to fairly win the race. Warren hijacks another car and attempts to run Aaliyah over, but the car is stopped by the police, whom Amara called upon realizing Warren's true intentions. He is arrested and taken into custody.

  • misterwolf In the aftermath, Aaliyah is named the Horizon champion and rewarded a champion's trophy by Farley, who remarks that her mother would be extremely proud of her. She then shares a victory kiss with Amara as the end credits roll.
