  • misterwolf However, when they enter their home and fall asleep, Arnbjorn sneaks inside and kidnaps Frey, leaving a ransom letter telling Lillith to bring Wunferth's family amulet to him and she can have her back. She refuses to hand it over, and instead goes on a rampage to save her child. Wunferth's older brother, Ulfberth, agrees to help her when she tells him of her daughter's abduction, as does her sister Lydia.

  • misterwolf The dwarf blacksmith Sindri upgrades her bow and gives her a fur cloak with a hood so she can protect herself from the endless snow. Lillith slaughters many of Arnbjorn's viking men before being captured and tortured by bandits when she accidentally trespasses onto their territory. Odin's ravens arrive and the god himself speaks to her; he tells her that she is the child of the goddess Freyja, and warns her of the consequences she may face if she escapes her fate to study her true nature. Meanwhile, Arnbjorn reveals to Frey that he was born to Wunferth by the goddess of death, Hela. Lillith escapes with the help of the ravens and kills the bandits before regaining her equipment. However, she is forced to use her instincts to survive in the cold while wearing her cloak as she needs time to heal.

  • misterwolf Ulfberth and Lydia become concerned about Lillith not returning to their village, and they set out to find her. Lillith is able to set and splint her damaged leg, but she also performs a crude cauterization on an infected wound caused by wood. She survives in the snow for a whole week, as her leg's wound finally heals, while she is found by Ulfberth and Lydia.

  • misterwolf Arnbjorn finds the rotting corpses of his men, and realizes that Lillith is hunting him. He sends his remaining crew after her, but when they arrive at the village, it is empty; only Sindri remains behind, and he fights and kills most of them, but the last one manages to overpower and behead him. As Lillith sleeps, she recalls the memories of Wunferth; however, she learns that they are not quite the same as she remembers, as she notices the silhouette of a woman. The figure approaches her and reveals herself as Freyja, who confirms Odin's claim that Lillith is her child, and assures her that she will find Frey alive. She helps her study her godhood before she leaves her to return to her sleep.

  • misterwolf Odin's ravens guide Lillith to Arnbjorn's whereabouts, but by the time she arrives, he has disappeared, leaving only Frey's bow and arrows. Lillith spots footprints and deduces that they are Arnbjorn's; she follows them and finally confronts him in front of an abandoned cabin in the mountains. Frey, who has managed to keep her knife hidden, cuts herself loose and throws a hatchet towards Arnbjorn, but he dodges as it almost hits Lillith; she grabs the hatchet and severs two of Arnbjorn's fingers, while he cuts her cheek open with a filet knife. The fight concludes when Lillith stabs Arnbjorn and beheads him avenging Wunferth's murder; however, she collapses and has a flashback of the day before Wunferth's death. In the flashback, he advises her to let go of him when he dies. The flashback fades and Freyja arrives in Lilith's head; she says "You shall live, Gersemi. My beautiful child. I will not allow my bloodline to die even if they remain mortals."

  • misterwolf Lillith awakens, and she accepts that even though she will always live as a mortal, she will always be the child of a goddess. She embraces Frey before they climb up the mountains; they finish their climb, and they witness a serious eruption from Hekla. When Frey asks why the eruption is so ominous, Lillith replies "It means Ragnarök will commence soon, my child. Very soon........", and then the end credits roll.
