  • misterwolf   @castingsinmyblood It's actually because Starscream's pretty much a coward, and Tom Hiddleston plays plenty of those. Also, can't remove him because he's in the first film. So, sorry, can't replace him.

• misterwolf Plot: The evil Decepticons are joined by the Combaticons, who transform into the powerful and violent Devastator. A pleased Megatron declares all-out war against the Autobots and sends Devastator to Metroplex City.

• misterwolf The Autobot units RC, led by Arcee, and the Wreckers, led by Bulkhead and Wheeljack, are attacked in Metroplex City by Devastator, only for him to be subdued and defeated by Optimus Prime and his second-in-command Windblade, the latter also now being the new leader of the Aerialbots unit following Skyfire's unseen death in battle. Arcee and the Wreckers join forces with Optimus and Windblade, and they return to their base. The Decepticons repair Devastator, who composes back into the Combaticons. Megatron demotes his disloyal second-in-command Starscream to a scout, replacing him with Shockwave. Optimus orders Metroplex City to be evacuated, and the rest of the Autobots leave it, not knowing that letting the Decepticons have it is not Optimus and Windblade's intention.

• misterwolf The city suddenly transforms into the Autobot titan Metroplex, who also says "Metroplex heeds the call of the last prime!", indicating that he is agreeing to battle Devastator. The Decepticons take over Shockwave's laboratory as their base of operations with his permission, and Shockwave himself begins working on a device capable of creating a portal. Optimus and his field medic Ratchet meet and befriend a young Autobot scout named Bumblebee, who joins their forces. Scheming to betray Megatron, Starscream leads an assault squad against the Autobots at the war-torn Iacon City, only for Megatron to arrive and take command of the attack; Bumblebee tries to distract the Decepticons, but Megatron strangles him; he squeezes so tightly that he damages Bumblebee's voice, and the young Autobot goes unconscious.

• misterwolf Ratchet manages to revive a voiceless Bumblebee, while Megatron berates Starscream for disregarding his orders. Metroplex battles an arriving Devastator, and the Autobots defend Iacon City from the incoming Decepticons. Devastator eventually overpowers and kills Metroplex, but not before the latter leaves a puncture mark on Devastator's abdomen.

• misterwolf Optimus, with Windblade, Ratchet, Bulkhead, and Arcee, follows a weakened Devastator to Trypticon City. Optimus explains to Bulkhead and Arcee that he obtained to legendary Matrix of Leadership, which enabled him to become a prime. Optimus is forced to battle Megatron when he intervenes in their pursuit of Devastator. The two are evenly matched, so Megatron strangles a captured Autobot named Brawn to death in an attempt to make them surrender; however, Optimus instead blasts him away, forcing him to retreat.

• misterwolf They arrive in Trypticon City, with Optimus and Windblade battling Devastator, while the others hold off the incoming Decepticons, including spies Thundercracker and Skywarp. Optimus kills Devastator, but the Decepticons are given backup. However, Optimus and Windblade throw a bomb at the Decepticons and shoot it, causing it to explode and forcing Thundercracker and Skywarp to retreat back to Shockwave's laboratory. Optimus orders a large ship to be built, indicating that he is instructing the first step of leaving Cybertron.

• misterwolf Meanwhile, Shockwave has finished his device. When Megatron asks what it is called, Shockwave replies "A space bridge." He begins to activate it before the end credits roll.
