American remake of the greatest icon of brazilian horror.
In a small town in the interior of Espírito Santo (Brazil), the presence of Josefel Zanatas, a sinister man who works as a gravedigger in the city cemetery, disturbs the other inhabitants, because the man dresses in black from head to toe, blasphemes against religion and has an extremely unpleasant attitude. Josefel's goal is to have a son, believing that the continuity of his blood will make him immortal, but his wife seems incapable of conceiving a child for him, so he decides to sexually abuse Tereza, the wife of his best friend, who promises to commit suicide so that her soul can drag Josefel to hell with her.
