Synopsis

In a small town in the interior of Espírito Santo (Brazil), the presence of Josefel Zanatas, a sinister man who works as a gravedigger in the city cemetery, disturbs the other inhabitants, because the man dresses in black from head to toe, blasphemes against religion and has an extremely unpleasant attitude. Josefel's goal is to have a son, believing that the continuity of his blood will make him immortal, but his wife seems incapable of conceiving a child for him, so he decides to sexually abuse Tereza, the wife of his best friend, who promises to commit suicide so that her soul can drag Josefel to hell with her.

Description of Lenita:

She is the wife of Josefel Zanatas, who was discovered to be sterile, which frustrated the goals of her husband, who intended to generate a perfect child to continue his bloodline. Josefel ends up murdering Lenita during a Catholic holiday, but he made it look like an accident and so he was not arrested, and with that he decides to get closer to Tereza, since since his wife died he will not be committing adultery.
