Mad Max
Mad Max is a 2024 Australian dystopian action film produced and directed by Guillermo del Toro from a screenplay written by George Miller, who directed the previous Mad Max films. The sixth installment in the Mad Max film series, the film disregards the events of Mad Max: Fury Road and the 2023 prequel Furiosa, instead serving as a direct sequel to Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. It stars Mel Gibson reprising his role as Max Rockastansky, with Margot Robbie, Ciarán Hinds, Malcolm McDowell and Michelle Pfeiffer joining the cast, while Roger Ward returns from the first film as Fred Macaffee. An aging Max is long retired, as the world is slowly returning to normal. However, when he learns that a familiar enemy has survived what he was left to die for, he must bring his road warrior life back and protect his daughter Jessie, (Robbie) and kill his presumed dead rival. Mad Max was released in Australia internationally on November 8th, 2024, and was released in the United States on December 28th, 2024; the film opened to the highest praise out of the Mad Max films worldwide, with praise for del Toro's direction and the performances (particularly those of Gibson, Robbie, and McDowell), as well as the action sequences, score and its concluding story to the series. It was also a commercial success, earning $529 million against a budget of $497 million.

Jason
Jason is a 2022 American action horror film directed by Breck Eisner and produced and written by Ridley Scott, based on the Friday the 13th character Jason Voorhees. The film serves as both the twelfth installment and a homage to the Friday the 13th film series while retconning Friday the 13th Part II and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives. It stars Joe Manganiello as the eponymous character and is supported by Adrienne King and Corey Feldman, reprising their roles as Alice Hardy and Tommy Jarvis. Set in 2015, 30 years after the events of The Final Chapter, Alice (King) meets Tommy (Feldman) for the first time and he tells her the story of how he killed Jason, even taking her to where he killed him, and then the lake where his mother threw his body in. However, when they drive away, Jason suddenly awakens and emerges from the lake, following them. It's up to Alice and Tommy to stop Jason and throw him back in the lake where he drowned in the first place, Camp Crystal Lake. The film had its world premiere on November 17th, 2022, and was released on December 9th. Despite a mixed response, Jason was a box-office success, grossing over $601 million, and is the best-reviewed film in the series. Since its release, the film has been reappraised and is now considered one of Eisner's finest films of his career, with praise for the performances of Manganiello, King and Feldman. A sequel is in development, with Eisner set to direct again and the cast set to return.

Warpath
Warpath is a 2022 American war film directed by Steven Spielberg, produced by Zack Snyder, Michael Bay and Tim Bevan and edited by James Wan from a story written by Spielberg based on the Mobile online game of the same name. The film stars an ensemble cast including Kristen Stewart, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Dave Bautista, Zachary Levi, Mark Strong, Emma Watson, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Caine, Naomie Harris, and Blake Lively. The most expensive film based on a game, with a cost of $897 million, Warpath was released on January, 27th 2022 to a surprise box-office success, grossing $549 million against a budget of $459 million. The film received largely positive reviews, with praise for its direction, Stewart's performance, action sequences, screenplay, editing, the emotional weight of the story, tone, faithfulness to its source game, and villains. Warpath was nominated for a Saturn Award for Best Cinematography, and won an Academy Award for Best Actress for Stewart, and is regarded as one of the best films of its decade and one of the greatest war films of all time. It was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by Liberty of Congress for being "culturally, historically or aesthetically significant" four months after its release. A sequel is in development, with Stewart set to reprise her leading role.

Zajcu37's Five Nights At Freddy's
Zajcu37's Five Nights At Freddy's is a 2022 American fantasy film based on Zajcu37's SMF FNAF animation series. It is directed by Bryan Singer and produced and written by Tim Burton, and is the first film in Singer's "Zajcu37's FNAF Trilogy". The film stars Keith David, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Josh Brolin, Meagan Good, Lauren Holly, Johnny Depp, and Tom Hiddleston. A ghost from Golden Freddy's (David) past occurs when Springtrap (Hiddleston) returns from death. Aided by Toy Chica (Olsen), Bonnie (Bettany), Freddy (Brolin), Chica (Good) and Foxy (Depp), he plans to stop Springtrap. Zajcu37's Five Nights At Freddy's premiered at the 79th Venice International Film Festival on December 12th, 2022, and was released 4 days later; following a strong debut that set numerous box-office records, it grossed just over $1 billion worldwide. The film's success made it one of Singer's highest-grossing films of all time. It received critical acclaim, especially for the performances of David and Olsen, Singer's direction, the action scenes, the emotional weight of the story, and its realistic use of visual effects. The film's success allowed Singer to develop two planned sequels, and the first sequel is in development.

Rogues Gallery
Rogues Gallery is an upcoming American superhero film based on the DC Comics supervillain team of the same name. Produced by Christopher Nolan and set for distribution by Warner Bros. Pictures, it is intended to be the first installment in the DC Dark Universe (DCDU). The film is being directed by James Mangold and stars an ensemble cast including Scarlett Johansson, Jason Isaacs, James McAvoy, Jon Hamm, Sean Harris, Tom Hiddleston, Evan Rachel Wood, and Josh Gad as the Rogues Gallery, alongside Jeff Daniels, Denzel Washington, Richard Armitage, Forest Whitaker, and Michael Madsen returning as Harvey Bullock.

Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria: A FNAF Story
Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria: A FNAF Story is a 2026 American neo-noir science fiction action film based on the horror game Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria Simulator. Written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, the film is a sequel to Sister Location: A FNAF Story and a prequeled spin-off to the film franchise The Five Nights at Freddy's. It features an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr., Angelina Jolie, Tim Allen, Benjamin Walker, Chris Pine, and Heather Masters. Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria premiered on HBO Max on July 9th 2026, and was released on July 17th to critical and commercial success, grossing just above $671 million worldwide. It received generally positive reviews from critics, with many deeming it superior to its predecessor, especially for the performances (particularly from Downey), action sequences, direction, visual effects and emotional weight.

The Ambitious Gorefield
The Ambitious Gorefield is a 2022 American action horror film written, directed and edited by James Wan and produced by Guillermo del Toro. Based on the SCP Foundation character Gorefield, the film features an ensemble cast consisting of Mackenzie Davis, Tom Kenny, Ryan Gosling, Javier Bardem, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Laurence Fishburne, and Ewan McGregor. The Ambitious Gorefield was released on March 7th, 2022; Wan decided to read about the character before the film's release, and had all cast members read about him as well. It received generally negative reviews from critics, who criticized the plot, runtime, crude humor, screenplay, direction and the overstylized gore, but the visual effects, action sequences, editing, score and performances (particularly from Kenny, Davis, and Fishburne) were praised. Despite the negative response, the film was a box-office success, earning $526 million worldwide, though it was the highest grossing film to win 3 Golden Raspberry Awards, including Worst Picture; Worst Director and Worst Screenplay. It won 5 Academy Awards, including Best Visual Effects; Best Sound; Best Editing; Best Musical Score; and Best On-screen Couple for Davis and Kenny. A sequel, directed by del Toro replacing Wan, is in development, with all of the cast returning, and Wan returning as the editor.

Sister Location: A FNAF Story
Sister Location is a 2025 American neo-noir science fiction action film based on the horror game Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location. Directed by Quentin Tarantino and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures, it is a prequeled spin-off to the film franchise The Five Nights at Freddy's. The film features an ensemble cast including Angelina Jolie, Heather Masters, Edward Norton, Tim Allen, and Benjamin Walker. Sister Location premiered on HBO Max on March 29th, 2025, and was released on April 7th, to a generally negative response from audiences, but a mixed response from critics, who harshly criticized its lack of innovation and a stronger faith to its source material compared to the original film franchise, along with its overly serious, inconsistent and dark tone and the character of Funtime Foxy. Although not disliked by critics, it is the worst-reviewed Five Nights at Freddy's film to-date, but its visual effects, action sequences, style, score, and Jolie's performance were praised, and was a success at the box-office, earning $607 million worldwide. A sequel, Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, was released a year later, to a positive response and was also financially successful.

The Immortal Guardians
The Immortal Guardians is a 2022 American superhero film based on the Roblox superhero team of the same name, by Jaxon Harmon. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo with a screenplay written by Joss Whedon, the film features an ensemble cast including Tim Robbins, Mila Kunis, Keith David, Garrett Hedlund and Scott Adkins as the Immortal Guardians, alongside Clea DuVall, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Crispin Glover, Zoe Kravitz and Gary Oldman. The Immortal Guardians premiered in HBO Max on January 19th, 2022, and was released on Febuary 4th, 2022. At 87% of rotten tomatoes, it was widely praised for its screenplay, direction, visual effects, themes, acting (particularly Robbins, Kunis, Hedlund and DuVall), tone, villains, score, and emotionally satisfying ending. The film grossed over $596 million worldwide and became the fourth highest grossing superhero film of all time, and garnered numerous award nominations and won several Academy Awards, including Best Superhero FIlm; Best Screenplay; Best Directors; Best Actor and Best Actress for Robbins and Kunis.

The Order of the Light is an upcoming American superhero film based on the superhero team created by Jaxon Harmon. Directed by Harmon and Haley Willis, the film features ensemble cast including Harmon, Willis, Travis Clark, Eric Carpenter, Hannah Jackson, and Nicholas J. Harmon.

The Death of Blackbeard
The Death of Blackbeard is a 2022 American history swashbuckler action film written, co-produced and directed by Tim Burton. It was produced by Gore Verbinski and edited by James Wan and Chris Lebenzon, and is based on Thatch's final years, from his early pirate days to his retirement and death. The film stars Joe Manganiello as the eponymous character, alongside Kate Mara, Tom Cruise, Matt Damon, Billy Zane, Mila Kunis, and Liam Hemsworth. It is narrated by Charles Vane (Damon) as he tells the story of what happened to his friend, Thatch (Manganiello) and how the Queen Anne's Revenge sank. The Death of Blackbeard is one of the most expensive films ever made with a cost of over $400 million, and was released on December 29th 2022. The film received critical acclaim upon release, with praise for Manganiello's performance, Burton's direction, historical accuracy, tone, the emotional weight of its story, screenplay, visual style, score, and the realistic action sequences. It also became a streaming hit for HBO Max, grossing $267 against a $196 million budget. At 96% of rotten tomatoes, it is often regarded as Burton's masterpiece and one of the greatest films of all time, especially in the history genre, and was cited as the best film in the 2020s until the release of Five Nights at Freddy's: The Nightmare Ends in 2024.

Star Wars Presents: The Mandalorian
The Mandalorian is an upcoming American space opera film based on the Star Wars character of the same name, it's ensemble cast stars Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian\Din Djarin, Gina Carano as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers as Greef Karga, Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett, Ming-Na Wen as Fennec Shand, and Giancarlo Esposito as the decommissioned Moff Gideon. It is set 2 years after the events of the television show, where Mando is betrayed by Migs Mayfeld (Bill Burr) once again, but he kills him afterwords, and then goes on a rampage to find Moff Gideon and do what he should have done when he rescued Grogu from him, kill him with the dark saber.

Solar Smash
Solar Smash is an upcoming American live-action scifi spacecraft film directed by Ridley Scott, it stars an ensemble voice cast of James Earl Jones, Idris Elba, Ken Watanabe, and Dolph Lundgren. It tells the story of the Universe trying to destroy itself, which leads to it's creator Amun-Ra to stop the disaster.

Grid
Based on the DC Comic Book Supervillain of the same name, Sam Elliot is the voice of Grid, and Dave Bautista is the character himself, before being Grid, he was Michael, (Donald Glover) a scientist recently killed by an experiment that went horribly wrong, but he somehow came back as a robot, and became a cunning and evil monstrosity.

Shadow the Hedgehog: Reign of Black Doom
Shadow the Hedgehog: Reign of Black Doom is a 2024 American science fiction action film based on the Sega Games character Shadow the Hedgehog. It is the sequel to Shadow the Hedgehog, which serves as a spin-off to Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and is the fourth installment in the Sonic the Hedgehog film series. Directed by Zack Snyder, the film stars Keanu Reeves as Shadow the Hedgehog, along with an ensemble cast including Morena Baccarin, Ben Schwartz, Idris Elba, Benedict Cumberbatch, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Jim Carrey, and McKenna Grace. Reign of Black Doom had its world premiere on May 7th, 2024, and was released 6 days later. The film opened to generally positive reviews, with praise for the action sequences, visual effects, tone, performances, direction, score, storyline, and emotional weight. It was also a box-office blockbuster, earning $870 million worldwide, and became the second highest-grossing film of 2024. A sequel, Shadow the Hedgehog: Resurrection, was released 2 years later.

Grimlock Smash
Grimlock Smash is a 2022 American dystopian science fiction action film based on the Transformers character Grimlock. The film is directed by George Miller and stars an ensemble cast including Gerard Butler, Emma Stone, Bradley Cooper, Josh Brolin, James McAvoy, Andy Serkis, and Frank Welker. It is set during the final days of Cybertron, which this version of Grimlock is based on the Fall of Cybertron take on him, where he is smarter than the version most people are used to, and nowhere near as arrogant, and he must stop Predaking from destroying what's left of the planet. The film premiered on Los Angeles and was released on February 21st 2022. It received largely positive reviews and was praised for Miller's direction and screenplay, Butler's performance, action sequences, faithfulness to Grimlock, visual effects, tone, and emotional weight.

The Kraken
The Kraken is a 2021 upcoming American monster film directed by Peter Jackson and written by Steven Spielberg. It stars an ensemble cast of David Morse as American Veteran Admiral John Harrison, Emilia Clarke as Sarah Harrison, and Tom Holland as Shawn Peterson. It is set during the present day, where the Admiral's men have found a disturbance in the Atlantic, and it was revealed to be their worst nightmare, the Kraken.

War of Darkness

War of Darkness had its world premiere on November 21st 2022, and was released on December 7th 2022. The film was widely acclaimed by critics, who praised its musical score, direction, screenplay, tone, political commentary, emotional weight, cinematography, storyline, and Neeson's performance, with many considering it to be Favreau's masterpiece and one of the greatest films ever made, particularly in the drama and political genres. The God of War
Based on the 2018 videogame, Dwayne Johnson is Kratos, a former Spartan who became the God of War after killing Ares, now in exile to norse, he now has a son named Atreus (Iain Armitage) and he lost a second wife after he was tricked into killing his first wife and daughter in Sparta, now he and his son must carry her ashes to the top of the mountain, but a god named Baldur (Tom Hardy) stands in their way.

Dawnguard
A vampire named Serana (Kristen Stewart) will find herself freed from her tomb by a group of vampire hunters called the Dawnguard, led by Isran (Chiwetel Ejiofor) and retrieve Auriel's Bow from a snow elf named Gelebor (Joonas Suotamo) so she can destroy her father, Lord Harkon (Hugo Weaving) and end his tyranny and save Skyrim.
