Spider-Man 2099
Miguel O'Hara is a New York geneticist at Alchemax working to recreate the abilities of the original Spider-Man. A lab accident due to sabotage by a co-worker results in half Miguel's DNA to be re-written with a spider's genetic code. Miguel survives the process, but soon discovers he has gained spider-abilities. Miguel soon comes face-to-face with the corruption and oppression rampant among the corporations he'd turned a blind eye to while working as a corporate stooge, and is surprised to see that as the new Spider-Man, he instills a new hope in the people of New York. Miguel, as Spider-Man 2099, declares himself the enemy of the Megacorps and pledges to champion the ordinary people against their tyranny.

Howard the Duck

Spawn

Having lost most of his memory, and in a horribly scarred form shrouded by a suit made from infernal material, Al becomes a violent antihero vigilante on the streets of the Detroit slum known as “Rat City."

Evil Ernie
Ernest Fairchild was a troubled young boy whose psychic powers made him and his family pariahs in their small town. Ernest's parents habitually abused him, a fact that was common knowledge among the townspeople, as Ernest could tell due to his ability to read their thoughts, but no one was willing to do anything about it. In an attempt to "cure" him of his abilities, his parents brought him to Dr. Leonard Price for an experimental treatment known as the Dream Probe which horribly backfired, resulting in Ernie murdering his parents the following night. After being incarcerated in a mental asylum, he was submitted to a second cutting-edge procedure known as "Neurotech." This procedure also went horribly wrong, resulting in an explosion. Ernest Fairchild died that day, but he did not stay that way, soon returning as an undead killer powered by the arcane energies contained within a sentient, psychotic button named Smiley, who functions as Evil Ernie's "shoulder devil" encouraging him on his killing sprees.

Inspector Gadget
Inspector Gadget began in 1983 as a DIC animated series, which has since spawned a multimedia franchise. The story concerns the titular cybernetic police inspector, a bumbling but kindhearted hero who is sent on various globetrotting missions by Chief Quimby to thwart the machinations of the villainous organization MAD and its megalomaniacal leader Doctor Claw. Joining him on his adventures are his brilliant kid-detective niece Penny and his highly-intelligent, long-suffering dog, Brain.

Hack/Slash
After surviving a killing spree perpetrated by her own mother, and being forced to kill her a second time when she resurrects as a vengeful undead "Slasher," Cassandra "Cassie" Hack travels the country seeking out other slashers, determined to end their rampages. She is soon joined by Vlad, an enormous, misshapen man who she at first mistakes for a slasher.

With the help of his "filthy assistants" Yelena Rossini and Channon Yarrow, Spider uses his subversive brand of journalism to attack the injustices of the corrupt, surreal landscape of his dystopian world.

The Addams Family

Intended as a humorous inversion of an ideal 20th century family, they are a clan of wealthy, aristocratic eccentrics who delight in the macabre and are either blissfully unaware or do not care that mainstream society finds them unusual or frightening. The main cast consists of patriarch Gomez, his wife Morticia, their children Wednesday and Pugsley, Uncle Fester and Grandmama, their butler Lurch, the disembodied hand Thing, and Gomez's hirsute Cousin Itt.

The Fantastic Four
The Fantastic Four are a superhero team created for Marvel Comics by the legendary duo of writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby in 1961. While on an outer space test flight in an experimental spacecraft, Reed Richards, Ben Grimm, and siblings Sue and Johnny Storm are bombarded with cosmic rays, resulting in each of them manifesting superhuman abilities. Reed is able to stretch, twist and re-shape his body to inhuman proportions. Sue can bend light, rendering herself and others invisible, and additionally can create force fields which she can use offensively and defensively in a number of ways. Johnny gains pyrokinetic abilities, allowing him to project fire from his body for various purposes, including flight. Ben becomes a massive rock-like humanoid possessing superhuman strength and durability. As a team, they operate out of the Baxter Building, located at 42nd Street and Madison Avenue in New York City.

The Trenchcoat Brigade
A loosely-affiliated ragtag band of mystics, occult detectives and warlocks are forced to rally together to contend with dark forces which could potentially bring about the apocalypse. Among them are the mysterious immortal Phantom Stranger, working class occult detective and con man John Constantine, mentally unstable monster hunter Mister E, and the paranormal investigator and skilled magic user team of Doctor Occult and Rose Psychic, who as the result of an unfortunate magical incident share a soul bond which only allows one to physically exist at a time.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
In a freak accident, four pet turtles are exposed to a Mutagenic substance in the New York City sewers, morphing them into human-sized bipedal sentient creatures who are named for Renaissance artists and subsequently trained in the art of Ninjutsu by Master Splinter, a mutant rat transformed by the same incident. Aided by their human allies April O'Neil and Casey Jones, The Turtles secretly protect New York from the machinations of the Foot Clan, a power-hungry clan of ninja led by The Shredder, who has a personal vendetta against Splinter.

Batman Beyond
The year is 2039. An aged Bruce Wayne, no longer able to continue his activities as the Batman due to a heart condition, lives in isolation at Wayne manor, having turned over the operation of Wayne Enterprises (Now Wayne-Powers) to CEO Derek Powers. Terry McGinnis, a 16-year-old high school student has a chance encounter with Bruce one night when members of the Jokerz gang chase Terry onto the grounds of Wayne Manor. Terry and Bruce fend off the gang members, but the exertion aggravates Bruce's heart condition. Terry helps Bruce back to the mansion, where he inadvertently discovers the entrance to the Batcave, only to be chased off by Bruce. Upon returning home, Terry discovers his father has been murdered, apparently by the Jokerz. Upon further investigation, however, he discovers that his father had uncovered evidence of illegal chemical weapons production at Wayne-Powers. Terry goes to Bruce for help, but Bruce refuses, feeling he is too old and weak to be of any use. When Terry is ambushed by Powers' enforcer Mr. Fixx, who manages to abscond with the evidence, Terry sneaks into the Batcave and steals a prototype Batsuit in order to infiltrate Wayne-Powers on his own. Initially Bruce opposes Terry, but realizing that in his absence crime in Gotham has become rampant, and that Terry is a worthy successor to the mantle of the Batman, he agrees to mentor the youth, hiring him as a personal assistant by day, while acting as mission control for the new Batman by night.
