The Legend of Zelda is a high-fantasy video game franchise created by Japanese game designers Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. The series centers on a young hero named Link, chosen bearer of the Triforce of Courage and wielder of the legendary Master Sword. With the aid of the titular Princess Zelda, the bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom, Link battles the Thief King Ganondorf, who holds the Trifore of Power.
