  • misterwolf S1 EP1 -- A New Beginning: Seven years after thwarting Gellert Grindelwald's election, Albus Dumbledore, with the help of Newt Scamander and his wife Tina Goldstein as well as the British Ministry of Magic, finally manages to track down Grindelwald. They eventually defeat him after a violent duel destroys much of Grindelwald's tower, and Grindelwald himself is incarcerated. One year later, Tina Goldstein gives birth to daughter, whom she and Newt name Leta, after Newt's late childhood friend Leta Lestrange. Thirty-one years later, Leta is sent to live with Nicolas Flamel in Paris, France, due to the corrupt Ministry of Magic believing that the Scamander family are deceptive. Upon arriving at an already aware Flamel's house, Leta and Flamel instantly bond like a father and child; Flamel also tells her the story about his experiences as a magical adventurer and his discovery and creation of the Philosopher's Stone. Leta becomes fascinated and thrilled by his storytelling, and Flamel shows her the Stone, of which she promises never to let fall into the wrong hands. Meanwhile, Albus visits his brother Aberforth, who had lost his son Aurelius several years back, and they both discover that Grindelwald has somehow escaped. Grindelwald invades Newt and Tina's house, and severely injures them with the cruciatus curse; fortunately, they survives just as the Dumbledore brothers arrive and contact Flamel, who asks a willing Leta to help him subdue Grindelwald. They both leave Paris and return to England.
