Watchmen (1999)

Set in an alternate 1985 America, costumed superheroes are part of everyday life. When one of his former comrades is murdered, masked vigilante Rorschach uncovers a plot to kill and discredit all past and present superheroes. As he reconnects with his retired associates, only one of which has true powers, all of them are exposed to a much darker plot involving their shared past and catastrophic consequences for the world's future.

The Batman VIII: The Beasts of Gotham (1999)

Two mysterious huge and brutal figures are reigning terror in Gotham City in the dead of night, one mysteriously resembling a crocodile and the other seeming to be made entirely of clay. Batman soon learns that these two have one goal in mind... revenge, against the same person no less. Things get even more complicated when Bruce Wayne is framed for an attempt on executive Lucius Fox's life. Superman: Guardians of Earth (1999)

Still healing from the death of his adoptive father Jonathan Kent from Superman: Last Sons of Krypton, Superman comes across yet another alien spacecraft, this time with a young woman who turns out to be his biological cousin named Kara Zor-El, with the same superpowers as him. It soon becomes clear that she came to Earth to help her cousin protect from the tyrannical and sadistic alien warlord Granny Goodness from the planet Apokolips who seeks to take control of all planets in the universe for her mysterious master.

Zatanna (1998)

Zatanna Zatara is a powerful and successful magician as well as a fighter of crime in San Francisco who's on a quest to find her father and mentor who mysteriously disappeared on her 18th birthday. However, she must join forces with Doctor Fate in order to face Brother Night, a supernatural crime lord and sorcerer who dominates the criminal underworld.

Shazam! (1998)

Troubled foster youth Billy Batson is chosen by an ancient wizard to become his new champion by saying the name "Shazam", allowing him to transform into an adult superhero with various superpowers. Now, Billy and his foster sibling, particularly Freddy Freeman, must use Billy's newfound powers in order to defeat the almighty supervillain Dr. Thaddeus Sivana and the Seven Deadly Sins.

Cyborg (1998)

After a near-death experience in an attack on his scientist father's lab, teenager Victor Stone is brought back to life by his father Dr. Silas Stone as a living cyborg with high-level intelligence. Vic soon begins to resent being brought back as something "not-human"; however, he will have to put his new powers to the test as he goes up against a dangerous foe in the form of Brother Blood and the H.I.V.E.

The Batman VII: Beware the Man-Bat (1998)

While continuing to defend Gotham City from crime and corruption, Batman stumbles upon a new mysterious enemy in the form of a giant bat-like creature that somehow links towards the benevolent Wayne Enterprises scientist Dr. Kirk Langstrom. Now, it's up to Batman to put an end to this once and for all.

Swamp Thing II (1998)

5-years after the events of the first film, the creature simply known as Swamp Thing continues to both roam and defend the swamp where he resides. However, a friend turned enemy from his past life as Alec Holland reemerges as the terror known as Floronic Man attacks those he cares about as revenge for him becoming what he is now. So, it's up to the Flash and two allies in two Green Lanterns to stop this dangerous duo before it's too late.

Wonder Woman II (1997)

Set now in modern times, Amazonian princess Diana continues to protect the innocents as the superheroine Wonder Woman, while also adapting to civilian life as Diana Prince. However, she will have to muster up all her strength, wisdom and courage in order to face against corrupt businessman turned powerful foe Maxwell Lord and the Cheetah, a villainess who possesses superhuman strength and agility.

John Constantine: Hellblazer (1997)

John Constantine, also known as Hellblazer is a cynical working-class warlock, occult detective, exorcist and con man from Liverpool who fights the supernatural forces of evil. However, when a "half-breed" archangel seeks to release all of Hell on Earth out of a disdain for humanity, Constantine must do all it takes to save the human realm from darkness.

The Batman V: Hearts of Ice (1996)

At Christmas in Gotham City, a mysterious new supervillain simply known as Mr. Freeze begins terrorizing the city in an act of revenge against an unknown assailant, alongside Poison Ivy, who is also on a quest for revenge against the same person. Léon, a professional hitman, reluctantly takes in a 12-year-old girl named Mathilda Lando after her entire family is killed by dangerously corrupt DEA agent Norman Stansfield. Soon, she seeks to learn the skills of his deadly trade so that she may avenge her family's death.

Superman: Last Sons of Krypton (1996)

Set right after the events of Justice League, Superman learns that an unidentified spacecraft has arrived on Earth. It turns out that the pilots are other survivors of the destruction of Kal-El's homeland Krypton, led by Kal-El's father Jor-El's former friend, General Zod, who wishes to wipe out the human race in order to make Earth into their new home. Torn between the protection of mankind and the survival of his race, Superman must put an end to Zod's plans once and for all.

Justice League (1995)

Seeking to rid themselves of their enemies, the brilliant and egotistical Lex Luthor and the sadistic and criminally insane Joker form an uneasy alliance in order to kill both Superman and Batman once and for all, with the Joker secretly planning something that could threaten the entire world. When the threat proves too dire, Batman forms a legion, consisting of the most brave and noble superpowered humans in order to put a stop to both Luthor and Joker's sinister plot once and for all.
