Kyle Thompson, also known as Jetstorm is a Human-Galra hybrid, Jake Thompson's twin brother, the archer vigilante of New York, who later becomes the Justice Avengers' ally and one of the supporting characters of Chargeshock Thompson & the Justice Avengers, series created by Man of Action.
Appearance
He is a tall and slim young man, though an inch shorter than Jake. He's got a spiky black hair and dark blue eyes. His civilian attire is a black leather jacket over a green hoodie, blue jeans and black, white sneakers and sunglasses.
As Jetstorm, he wears a sleeveless blue suit with black accents, black pants and blue boots. He carries a quiver along his back that is filled with arrows and has a black strap that goes along his chest. He also has long blue gloves, and a black belt with a silver "J".
Personality
As someone who grew up feeling overshadowed by his twin brother and always with a need to prove himself, Kyle is described as cocky, brooding, impulsive, rash, and stubborn. And while he tended to constantly bicker with Jake, he tried in his own way to bond with him and get him to loosen up sometimes. He also shows a sense of "empathy" when he shows to be exhausted from that day, and reaches out to wipe a smudge off of his face. He also seems to have Dennis' impatient personality during his encounter with Dennis and seems to be merciless when he took down one of the Icicle Androids even after they gave up.
He also shares similar personality traits with the Justice Avengers, though he considers himself more of a solo player. Like Chargeshock, he makes snarky jokes, yet still gets serious when needed, but unlike him, he usually prefers to go on solo missions, putting his own life at risk. Like Goldspeed, he's a quick witted daredevil. Like Firestrike, he has a bad temper, a rebellious streak and was a lone wolf at first, yet sometimes displays his soft side (especially when talking about his family (mostly Jake) and former best friend). Like Hawkman, he gets frustrated easily under pressure yet also has feelings for Nicole, though unlike Liam, he is really flirty around her. Like Soundwave, he's extremely immature and reckless. With that said, he is what even Sally would call "a loose canon" Despite his flaws, he has a strong sense of justice, which makes him believe in standing up for those who can't stand up for themselves.
Kyle can be quite brash, having a noted attitude and a mischievous side. Kyle is abrasive and often insults and laughs at his enemies or sneers at things he finds unimpressive. However, these traits are only an extension of his sincere and unpretentious demeanor, including casual gestures such as waving. Like his twin brother, he is also a big flirt around girls, even though he doesn't take advantage of them. But unlike him, he wasn't initially looking for a serious relationship, since he had commitment issues and because most people only saw him as the cheap copy twin of Jake and thought that it would have been too dangerous for his vigilante work and no girl would have wanted him for him anyway.
Abilities
Master Marksman: He is a highly skilled archer and fighter. He uses trick arrows. A variety of explosive, electric and smoke.
Enhanced Reflexes: As mentioned, Jetstorm prefers to use bow and arrows in combat, despite using a ranged weapon Jetstorm is able to easily combat enemies at close range. He is able to evade and maneuver quickly in order to get a point blank shot with his pin point accuracy.
Enhanced Speed: Jetstorm is very quick on his feet. In order to gain a perfect shot, he is used to quickly moving around view points with his speed.
Enhanced Strength: Jetstorm possess great strength as he is able to pull back and fire his arrow to astonishing lengths with his pure Galra strength, with the simplest bow. He also posses enough strength to knock out most of his enemies at close range using either his bow or his fists alone.
Enhanced Stamina: As the eternal robin hood of New York, Jetstorm has a finely tuned fatigue and damage resistance. He is able to patrol for hours and effectively utilize whatever energy he has.
Master Combatant: While highly preferring to use his ranged weaponry, Jetstorm is well versed in the arts of hand to hand combat. He is able to subdue a number of enemies without any arrows while either aided the blunt force of his bow, or simply is fists.
Trivia
Kyle is a few minutes younger than Jake.
Kyle's mother, Krolia, wanted to name him "Razer," but his father, Derrick Thompson suggested "Kyle" instead. Razer is a former Red Lantern and one of the main protagonists of Green Lantern: The Animated Series.
As Jetstorm and as his civilian self, Kyle is inspired by DC's Green Arrow, Marvel's Hawkeye, TMNT's 2012 incarnation of Casey Jones and Silver The Hedgehog (even though, he's more like Jet The Hawk).
Kyle's favorite holiday is Halloween.
Kyle wears his best friend's chain in his civilian outfit to remember him by something after he passed away.
