Synopsis

After being struck by lightning, Barry is given the ability to run a super speed. With these amazing abilities, he becomes a supehero known as The Flash. Later on, he investigates the weird coincidence that his mother was killed by a man with the exact same abilities. A man from the future, Eobard Thawne, inlists the help of some villains. He uses them to distract Barry, while Eobard kidnaps Iris West. Barry finds out about this from Captain Cold, and quickly runs to save her, but he was too late. Barry finds out about Thawn's plan to kill Iris and break Barry. Thawne starts running to Iris and Barry chases him. They fight in the speed force, with Thawne dying there. Barry finds Iris in a warehouse, and tells her that he's The Flash. It turns out she already knew, after he kept canceling a lot of their dates and she did some research. In the end, Barry and Iris get engaged.
