When Lakitu, a struggling TV host, comes up with a plan to boost his ratings back up to the numbers he saw in his prime, he lured Mario, Crash, and a host of others to Von Clutch’s Motorworld. There, a mystery occurred to identify who stole the power gems that fuel the park.
