Jesse Custer is a hard-drinking, chain-smoking preacher who, amidst a crisis of faith, becomes infused with extraordinary cosmic powers from Heaven itself. He embarks on a bizarre and tumultuous quest to better understand his new gift and literally find God, alongside his wayward, trigger-happy ex-girlfriend Tulip and his new friend Cassidy...who may or may not be a vampire.
