The Color Purple (2020s Cast)

An epic tale spanning forty years in the life of Celie, an African-American woman living in the South who survives incredible abuse and bigotry. She perseveres, holding on to her dream of one day being reunited with her sister in Africa.

The Patriot (2020s Cast)

Peaceful farmer Benjamin Martin is driven to lead the Colonial Militia during the American Revolution when a sadistic British officer murders his son.

The Witches of Eastwick (2020s Cast)

Three small-town friends, Alexandra, Jane, and Sukie, each having lost the man in their lives, are feeling unfulfilled -- until a furtive stranger, Daryl Van Horne, arrives and begins courting each of them in turn. Eventually, Daryl tells them that they are witches. But as the three friends spend more time at his mansion, enjoying themselves and learning about their powers, they begin to worry about Daryl's ultimate intentions.

Wonder Woman (The WB 1999)

The same story as the movie but made as a WB show. Cast with 90s era actors/actresses. I don't think it would have huge stars in it since it would have a lower per episode budget than a film.

Betty Boop (Live Action)

Betty Boop is an animated cartoon character created by Max Fleischer, with help from animators including Grim Natwick. She originally appeared in the Talkartoon and Betty Boop film series, which were produced by Fleischer Studios and released by Paramount Pictures. She was featured in 90 theatrical cartoons between 1930 and 1939. She has also been featured in comic strips and mass merchandising.

Ladybugs (Just for fun current recast)

Chester Lee is desperate for a promotion at work and some respect from his boss. To impress his boss, he claims to have been a good soccer player in his youth and is badgered into coaching a girls' team called the Ladybugs. Dragging his assistant Julie along as assistant coach, Chester figures the gig easy as the Ladybugs, sponsored by his company, are a dynasty, having dominated previous seasons. If he can get this team to a championship, he will get the promotion. Unfortunately, only one player has returned for the new season. The new team, which includes the boss' daughter, Kimberly, are clueless, make a dreadful start to the season and the boss is less than impressed. In his personal life, Chester is engaged to Bess, who has a son, Matthew, from a previous marriage. Matthew just happens to be a great athlete, but poor grades get him kicked off the soccer team. Chester invites Matthew to watch the Ladybugs practice and to get some tips. Matthew has a crush on Kimberly from school and it is partly due to this that Chester persuades him to dress like a girl and play for the team under the name Martha.

Fright Night (TV Show Reboot)

The story follows young Charley Brewster, who discovers that his next-door neighbor Jerry Dandrige is a vampire. When no one believes him, Charley decides to get Peter Vincent, a TV show host who acted in films as a vampire hunter, to stop Jerry's killing spree. The series would follow just the original movie then branch off from there.

Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters (TV Show)

A show would allow for a richer backstory. Elements from the original movie could be spaced out and we could see more of Hansel and Gretal's adventures.

Airborne (2020s Cast)

The way surfer dude Mitchell Goosen sees it, there are two kinds of people: those who surf and those who don’t. So when Mitch relocates from surfside California to wintry landlocked Cincinnati, there’s just one thing he can do: put on skates and get Airborne!

Faerie Tale (Faerie Tale Theatre Reboot)

This would be a reimaging of the original Shelley Duvall series, but aimed at a more mature audience. Think the Fear Street movies or American Horror Story but with way more cast variety. It would still be an anthology but stripping away the theater elements for a tv show/ movie like feel. I think this could allow the show to bounce around and combine genres. You could have self contained one episode stories or stories that span over two or three episodes.

The Island (2020s Cast)

The film is about Lincoln Six Echo, who struggles to fit into the highly structured world in which he lives, isolated in a compound, and the series of events that unfold when he questions how truthful that world is. After Lincoln learns the compound inhabitants are clones used for organ harvesting as well as surrogates for wealthy people in the outside world, he attempts to escape with Jordan Two Delta and expose the illegal cloning movement

Vibes (Remake- 2020s Cast)

The plot concerns Sylvia, an eccentric psychic, and Nick, her equally odd psychic friend and their trip into the Ecuadorian Andes to find the "source of psychic energy

Peggy Sue Got Married (2020s Cast - Set in the 80s)

It's about a woman on the verge of a divorce, who finds herself transported back to the days of her senior year in high school in 1985.

Where the Heart Is (2020s Cast)

A pregnant seventeen-year-old rebuilds her life after being abandoned by her boyfriend at a Walmart in Sequoyah, Oklahoma.

Cry-Baby

The story centers on a group of delinquents who refer to themselves as "drapes" and their interaction with the rest of the town and its other subculture, the "squares", in 1950s Baltimore, Maryland. "Cry-Baby" Walker, a drape, and Allison, a square, create upheaval and turmoil in their little town of Baltimore by breaking the subculture taboos and falling in love. The film shows what the young couple has to overcome to be together and how their actions affect the rest of the town.

First Knight (2020s Remake)

The film follows the rogue Lancelot's romance with Lady Guinevere of Leonesse, who is to marry King Arthur of Camelot, while the land is threatened by the renegade knight Malagant.
