After Carl Johnson has resided at Liberty City for five years to escape from the pressures of life, he was informed by his brother that his mother was murdered which is why he is returning from Liberty City to Los Santos. He misses the funeral but decides to stay and prove his loyalty to his brother Sweet and to the Grove Street Families. Carl then begins to help the Grove Street Families and weaken their rivals, as well as establishing a business empire throughout the State of San Andreas. (Takes place before Season I)

Grand Theft Auto: Season 2 (2017)

Having just made it back onto the streets of Liberty City after a long stretch in maximum security prison, Tommy Vercetti is sent to Vice City by his old boss, Sonny Forelli. They were understandably nervous about his reappearance in Liberty City, so a trip down south seemed like a good idea. But all does not go smoothly upon his arrival in the glamorous, hedonistic metropolis of Vice City. He's set up and is left with no money and no merchandise. Sonny wants his money back, but the biker gangs, Cuban gangsters, and corrupt politicians stand in his way. Most if not all of Vice City seems to want Tommy dead. His only answer is to fight back and take over the city himself.

Grand Theft Auto: Season 1 (2016)

Claude is a criminal who has just arrived in Liberty City with his girlfriend Catalina, the two having met in San Andreas in 1992. Catalina turns on Claude after the pair rob a bank, as she joins the Colombian Cartel. Whilst being transported to Portland by the police, the convoy is attacked and Claude escapes with 8-Ball. The two escape and Claude begins to work for the Leone Family, before working for various other people and criminal organisations.
