The Fall of Max Payne
The Fall of Max Payne is the sequel to Max Payne (2008) and the second film in the Max Payne series. It continues the story of the titular character, a detective for the New York City Police Department (NYPD) and former vigilante, as he is reunited with contract killer Mona Sax and must work with her to resolve a conspiracy full of death and betrayal.

Guy Ritchie's Batman: Assault on Arkham
The story focuses primarily on the Suicide Squad, particularly Batman villains Deadshot and Harley Quinn with Batman himself in a supporting role. In the film, the Suicide Squad, consisting of six criminals, are dispatched by Amanda Waller to break into Arkham Asylum, where they must contend with the asylum's inmates and Batman as they attempt to complete their mission to reclaim information stolen by the Riddler.

Rocky (2006)
It tells the rags to riches American Dream story of Rocky Balboa, an uneducated, kind-hearted working class boxer, working as a debt collector for a loan shark in the slums of Philadelphia. Rocky, a small-time club fighter, gets a shot at the world heavyweight championship.

D.C. Cab Remake
Naive but good natured young man Albert arrives in Washington, D.C., with plans to work for his late father's army buddy Harold, owner of the run-down District of Columbia Cab company. Aware of the sorry state of his business and from the growing competition from the popular Uber, Harold wants to clean it up but doesn't have the financial means to do so. Complicating matters is the motley group of cab drivers that he has working for him. They all see driving as a dead-end job while they wait for better lives, until Albert inspires them to work as a team.

Spider-Girl
Mayday Parker is the daughter of Peter and Mary Jane Parker, named after his deceased Aunt May. Peter nearly lost a leg during the horrific conflict with the Hobgoblin. After the battle Peter considered it a wake-up call, decided to retire and focus on being a husband and father. For years, they chose to keep their past from May and hoped that she wouldn't develop powers of her own. Roderick Kingsley, a socialite, fashion designer and billionaire who had criminal underworld connections and had come about his wealth through unethical business practices and corporate raiding, bought out the Daily Bugle. An humiliated J. Jonah Jameson retired as he no longer had control over the newspaper, which was made into an online newspaper and blog. Despite her parents' hopes, May begins developing versions of her father's spider-powers when she was 17. At the same time, Hobgoblin returns and sets out to restore his name. May dons a costume to stop him and soon takes to crime-fighting. When Mary Jane becomes aware that the Hobgoblin poses a threat to her family, she allows May to resume her activities as Spider-Girl. Following Peter's return as Spider-Man during May's final battle with the Hobgoblin, May tells her father the truth. After Mary Jane has an argument with Peter, she realizes that Peter will accept the truth someday but Peter planned it all along. Because of this action, she continues her fight to keep the city safe as they allow May to resume her Spider-Girl identity.

The Punisher 2
Having lost his family to mob violence, former Delta Force operative Frank Castle has spent the last five years as a vigilante known as the Punisher. The film begins with the Punisher killing several henchmen. After he leaves, he is apprehended by law enforcement in front of an unknown building. He is then transferred to Ryker's Island and interrogated by police detectives Molly von Richthofen and Martin Soap. The majority of the film occurs in flashbacks during this interrogation.

George A. Romero's Resident Evil
The film takes inspiration from the original Resident Evil game and includes concepts from the Japanese story notes such as the Tyrant having an animal heart grafted to its chest. The characters however are radically different, with Chris Redfield being a Mohawk ranch worker and in a relationship with Jill Valentine.

Tim Burton's Superman Lives
Brainiac sends Doomsday to kill Superman, as well as blocking out the sun to make Superman powerless, as Superman is fueled by sunlight. Brainiac teams up with Lex Luthor, but Superman is resurrected by a Kryptonian robot, the Eradicator. Brainiac wishes to possess the Eradicator and its technology. Powerless, the resurrected Superman is sheathed in a robotic suit formed from the Eradicator itself until his powers return, courtesy of sunbeams, and defeats Brainiac.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Trilogy
The trilogy takes place four thousand years before the Galactic Empire as hundreds of Jedi Knights have fallen in battle against the ruthless Sith.

Spider-Man 5
When a strange, mutant lizard threatens the city of New York, Peter Parker traces it back to Dr. Curt Connors. Frustrated with his repeated failed attempts at killing Spider-Man, Kraven the Hunter hatches a final plot to best his adversary, shooting and burying him alive. With his enemy out of the way, Kraven patrols the city for The Lizard, intent on proving himself a better hero. Spider-Man soon awakens and hunts the Hunter to save Dr. Connors, even if it is at the cost of his own life.

Spider-Man 4
Taking place seven years after the events of Spider-Man 3, Peter Parker has amicably split from Mary-Jane and becomes infatuated with Black Cat, an accomplished executive representing a venture capital firm that's trying to buy the Daily Bugle known as Felicia Hardy. However, they are brought into conflict when Felicia targets the sinister super villain known as the Vulture, who killed her father.

X-Men vs. Fantastic Four
Johnny Storm goes supernova while trying to apprehend Molecule Man. This results in him accidentally blowing a hole in Manhattan and in response to the carnage, the government is forced to introduce the superhero registration act. The heroes from both teams would be split on opposing sides, and one of the key fights features Wolverine taking on Mr. Fantastic in a battle that would end with Reed Richards pinning Wolverine down, extending his hands until they're one molecule wide, and then, using them as scissors to cut Logan's arms off. After a series of equally intense events, the heroes eventually make peace with one another, and the post-credits scene would've set up the next film with the tease of a Super Skrull invasion.

Punisher: End of the Line
We find Frank Castle as we left him at the end of the series, only now completely aware of the threat that superheroes and villains pose to mankind. So, Frank Castle has to go gunning for the person who he feels is responsible for the innumerable civilian casualties. The one who started it all by organizing these weapons of mass destruction to come together. Nick Fury. The twist is that Frank is being used, he spots the double-cross early at the end of act one. From that point on, we have a 3:10 to Yuma situation. Frank and Fury on the run from everyone, heroes and villains. It’s 3:10 to Yuma meets Leon: The Professional by way of Winter Soldier.

James Cameron's The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Set three years after the events of Spider-Man, the sequel finds Peter Parker struggling to manage both college and his duties as Spider-Man, which affects his civilian life dramatically. Meanwhile, Dr. Otto Octavius becomes a diabolical villain after a failed experiment leaves him neurologically fused to mechanical tentacles. Spider-Man must stop him from successfully recreating the dangerous experiment.

James Cameron's The Amazing Spider-Man
The film centers on outcast teen genius Peter Parker, who develops spider-like superhuman abilities after being bitten by a genetically-altered spider, and decides to use his newfound powers to fight crime and protect the people of New York City as Spider-Man, after the killing of his late Uncle Ben.

Joel Schumacher's Batman: Year One
The prequel to 1989's Batman recounts Batman's first year as a crime-fighter as well as exploring the life of recently transferred Gotham police detective James Gordon – eventually building towards their first encounter and eventual alliance against Gotham's criminal underworld.

20th Century Fox's Cowboy Bebop
In the far-off future, inter-planetary bounty hunting becomes a hot profession. But when a mysterious bounty is put on one bounty hunter's head, he must find out who did it, and kill them before he becomes a victim of his own profession.
