Daredevil: The Man Without Fear
The plot focuses on an origin story for Daredevil, the relationship with his father, fighting Bullesye and Kingpin, and Elektra becoming an assassin in the aftermath of her own father's death. Some influence is taken from the Born Again story.

The Iron Man
Tony Stark has begun moving his company, Stark Industries, away from arms manufacturing after the end of the Cold War, and has started a new project: the Rescue Redeemer Armor, designed for search and rescue purposes. It's able to retrieve people from emergency situations and even provide a degree of medical care. However, a not inconsiderable part of the company, spearheaded by executive Justin Hammer, wants to use the Redeemer for military applications. When Stark refuses to go along with this, Hammer facilitates an assassination attempt undertaken by the cybernetic minions of a mysterious group called AIM. The attempt leaves a bullet lodged in Stark's heart, forcing him to use the Redeemer to save himself. This leads to Stark investigating AIM and coming into conflict with them.

The Punisher on FOX
The Punisher is an hour-long procedural with a Marvel signature, following both Frank Castle and a rising star officer with the New York Police Department, Lynn Michaels, who moonlights as a vigilante herself, seeking justice for those the system has failed.

Chris Columbus' Fantastic Four
The film follows a group of intelligent people who unintentionally gain superhuman abilities after exposure to cosmic rays during a scientific mission.

Steven Spielberg's The Catcher in the Rye
Holden Caulfield, a depressed 17-year-old, lives in an unspecified institution in California after the end of World War II. After his discharge within a month, he intends to go live with his brother D.B., an author and war veteran with whom Holden is angry for becoming a Hollywood screenwriter. Holden recalls the events of a single night during the previous Christmas, beginning at Pencey Preparatory Academy, a boarding school in Pennsylvania.

Spider-Man: Friend or Foe
The storyline of the film revolves around P.H.A.N.T.O.M.s, dangerous creatures created by mixing symbiotes with holographic technology, which a mysterious villain plans to use to take over the world. This villain has also captured and brainwashed many of Spider-Man's foes to help him acquire meteor shards that will strengthen his army. After being recruited by S.H.I.E.L.D., Spider-Man journeys across the globe to retrieve these shards himself and recruit more allies to his cause.

Tekken: The Motion Picture
The film's story is loosely based on the first game, where Kazuya is the main character and Heihachi is the Head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, and Tekken 2, which features Jun and Lei's investigation of the Zaibatsu's illegal activities, although it also incorporates some elements from Tekken 3.

Samurai Jack: The Movie
The story takes place fifty years after Jack was cast into the future. In despair from the years of fighting Aku and from Aku's destruction of the remaining time portals, Jack—who has not aged as a side effect of the time travel—is haunted by warped visions of himself, of his family, and of an enigmatic, deathly warrior on horseback.

The film follows the war waged by vigilante Frank Castle / Punisher on crime and corruption, in particular on the disfigured mob boss known as Billy "Jigsaw" Russo.

David Fincher's Spider-Man
Norman Osborn has suspended his identity as The Green Goblin despite knowing that Spider-Man is Peter Parker. Also, Harry Osborn, Parker's best friend and Norman's son, became addicted to drugs and was sequestered in the Osborn home for detoxification. Norman's parental grief, combined with financial pressure, triggered a breakdown resulting in Norman Osborn remembering his Goblin identity and again targeting Spider-Man and his loved ones for misery. The Green Goblin abducts Peter's girlfriend, Gwen Stacy, and lures Spider-Man to a tower of the Brooklyn Bridge. The Goblin and Spider-Man clash, and the Goblin hurls Stacy off the bridge. Spider-Man shoots a web strand at her legs and catches her. As he pulls her up, he thinks he has saved her, however he quickly realizes she is dead. Unsure whether her neck was broken by the whiplash from her sudden stop or had been already broken by the Goblin prior to her fall, he blames himself for her death. The Green Goblin escapes, and Spider-Man cries over Stacy's corpse and swears revenge.

Shawn Levy's Uncharted 2
Nathan Drake, now a retired fortune hunter, reunites with his long-lost brother, Samuel, and seeks to save him from a ruthless tyrant by setting off on another adventure that involves finding Captain Henry Avery's fabled pirate treasure.

John Woo's Metroid
Metroid follows the adventures of bounty hunter Samus Aran, who battles the villainous Space Pirates. The pirates threaten the Galactic Federation with their attempts to harness biological weapons such as the parasitic Metroid creatures and the hazardous Phazon material. Samus was raised by the Chozo, an avian race, after her parents were killed by Space Pirates. She serves in the military of the Galactic Federation before departing and beginning work as a bounty hunter. Samus travels to the planet Zebes, defeating the cybernetic lifeform Mother Brain, as well as its guardians, Kraid and Ridley.

Half-Life: The Movie
Gordon Freeman, a scientist, must escape the Black Mesa Research Facility after it is invaded by aliens.

Justice League: Mortal RECAST
The film opens on a funeral in Metropolis for a fallen hero. Thousands of people are in attendance. All of the League are present except for Batman. The heroes are wearing all black versions of their normal costumes. As the fallen hero's coffin is placed in the grave the story flashes back to "two days ago".

Batman: DarKnight
