The Amazing Spider-Man (1985)
What if...they launched an 80's MCU with a Spider-Man trilogy? It would probably look something like this.

Archie Andrews, Where Are You? (1988)
1980's adaptation of Archie comics as envisioned by John Hughes centered on Riverdale's small town setting and the cliques, pressures, and heartbreaks of teen life of that era. An authentic, emphatic portrayal of the teenage experience with the occasional heightened moments of dreamlike absurdity.

1970's X-Men
What if Marvel adapted an X-Men movie in the 1970's?

X-Men: Mutant Massacre
Adaptation of the Mutant Massacre storyline.

Batman '86
Alternate timeline gritty 80's adaptation of the Batman trilogy as envisioned by Brian De Palma. Batman faces his greatest challenge yet as his secret identity is revealed. Meanwhile, corrupt Gotham City officials conspire with the League of Assassins, springing Batman's rogues gallery from Arkham Asylum to spread chaos throughout the city.

Batman and Superman: World's Finest
What Batman v Superman should have been. The Joker has combined forces with Lex Luthor and only the combined superpowers of Batman and Superman can stop them. Can the Man of Steel and the Caped Crusader put aside their differences in time to save Metropolis?

Nth Man
After a powerful telekinetic named Alfie O'Meagan neutralizes all of the world's nuclear weapons, the world's superpowers immediately begin waging World War III with conventional weapons. Amidst the chaos, the United States declares Alfie the most dangerous man on Earth, and dispatches the one person capable of killing him: John Doe, the Nth Man, top CIA assassin, world's deadliest Ninja... and Alfie's childhood friend.

G.I. Joe: The Motion Picture
Imagine if Golan and Globus got the rights to G.I. Joe. It would probably look something like this.

Goblin Slayer
What I imagine a live action American adaptation of the popular manga/anime would look like. In a world of high fantasy, adventurers complete contracts with the Guild to gain fortune and glory. A young, rookie priestess joins her first adventuring party, but comes into danger after the contract involving goblins goes horribly wrong. As the rest of her party is wiped out, she is saved by a man known as Goblin Slayer, an adventurer whose only purpose is the eradication of goblins with extreme prejudice.

G.I. Joe Part I
Faithful adaptation of the GI Joe a Real American Hero comic book series produced by Marvel in the 80's. A new terrorist threat rises, known only as Cobra, an organization comprised of fanatics, ninjas, and mercenaries, seemingly hellbent on sowing chaos and destabilizing governments worldwide. The GI Joe team is mobilized, the best and brightest of the US military with an arsenal of state of the art weaponry at their disposal. Only they stand between the free world and the snake death cult bent on unleashing a deadly bioweapon developed by the rogue scientist Dr. Venom.

Retro Marvel Cinematic Universe
An ode to the MCU that almost was when all these characters were occupying television screens at the same time in the late 70's. There were talks about a crossover between the Incredible Hulk and the Amazing Spider-Man, as well as a new show featuring Daredevil and the Black Widow played by David Bowie's wife. Unfortunately none of this ever came to fruition thanks to the untimely death of Bill Bixby in 1993. Here's a look at what could have been. After his plans are foiled by the Hulk and Daredevil, Kingpin declares war on all costumed heroes. Assisting him in this endeavor is Morgan le Fay who has her own reasons for wanting the heroes out of the way. The good guys must join forces to stop this combined threat for the world, the very universe, is at stake.

Cabal
Convinced by his psychiatrist Dr. Decker that he is responsible for a string of brutal slayings, Aaron Boone flees to Midian, a necropolis nestled deep in the Canadian wilds. He seeks refuge there and encounters the shape-shifting monsters known as the Nightbreed. As Decker and the authorities close in, Boone becomes the breed's only chance for survival.

The Crow
The story revolves around a man and a woman who were killed brutally by a gang of thugs. The man, named Eric, is resurrected by a crow and given supernatural powers to exact his revenge against those who killed him and his girlfriend. A shot-for-shot adaptation of the original comic book for a modern audience. Less focus on a cohesive plot and narrative as found in the 1994 adaptation, more focus on the abstract, delving into the fragmented psyche of one wracked by grief. Filmed in glorious black and white.

The Stand
Mostly faithful casting choices for Stephen King's epic envisioned as a trilogy in the same size and scope as the LOTR series. I envision a mostly young, talented cast bolstered by veteran actors in key supporting roles. Directed by George Miller and narrated throughout by Tom Hanks.
