Yet, mistrust and cowardice lead to the demise of their friendship and ends with Peter's betrayal , the murder of the Potters , demise of Lord Voldemort and the imprisonment of Sirius. The 7 part series is about their friendship and bravery, spread across childhood and adulthood; a great story within the greater story of the Harry Potter and the wizarding world.

Christopher Nolan directed the movie with Joyce and Guillermo del Toro being executive producers of the film. The film stars Aaron Taylor Johnson, Ben Barnes, Andrew Garfield, Dane Dehaan, Tom Holland, Elizabeth Olsen, Sam Witwer, Ian Mcshane, Gary Oldman, Evan Peters, Dwayne Johnson, Anne Hathaway, Millie Bobby Brown and Johnny Depp. The film was released on July 12th, 2018 and received largely positive reviews, with critics praising its animation, voice acting (Particularly Johnson, Barnes, Garfield, Dehaan and Witwer), Zimmer's musical score, action sequences, emotional depth, character development, and darker and serious tone compared to its predecessor, although the plot was criticized as a derivative of Kung Fu Panda 2. The film grossed $950 million worldwide against its $180 million budget. It is also the first Animation film to be rated R Rated as it has a lot of thematic elements throughout.

Part 1 was released in 2D cinemas and IMAX formats worldwide on 6th February 2020. The film received positive reviews with critics praising its performances, cinematography, visual effects and musical score.

At King's Cross station, Harry boards the Hogwarts Express train. He meets Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, a Muggle-born witch. Arriving at Hogwarts, Harry also meets Draco Malfoy, who is from a wealthy, pure-blood wizard family. The two immediately form a rivalry. The students assemble in the Great Hall where the Sorting Hat sorts the first-years in four respective houses: Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Harry is placed into Gryffindor alongside Ron and Hermione, while Draco is sorted into Slytherin, a house noted for dark wizards.
