When a high-priority distress signal is intercepted from a “dead” sector of space, Crimson is deployed to Installation 03-B, a decaying Forerunner research station hidden within a volatile nebula. What starts as a standard recovery mission quickly spirals into a fight for survival. A charismatic Sangheili Zealot, Vata ‘Gajat, has seized control of the facility’s “Composer Shards.” His goal is to finish what the Didact started: digitizing human colonies to build an unstoppable Promethean army. As Crimson battles through waves of Storm Covenant and lethal Sentinel defenses, the team’s internal friction—born of their pre-Spartan lives as ODSTs, pilots, and scientists—threatens to break them before the enemy can.

In what is North America, there are 12 districts, each with its own job/business. It is led by President Coriolanus Snow, the President of Panem. Each year, on the annual Hunger Games day, each district selects one male and one female tribute between the ages of 12-18 where they will be put into an arena to fight to death until one tribute is left standing.
