The Graduate (1987)

Benjamin Braddock returns home to California after successfully completing college. He gets a hero's welcome from his parents but Ben isn't quite sure what to do with the rest of his life. He is soon seduced by Mrs. Robinson, the wife of his father's partner, who methodically pursues the inexperienced young man. Soon, they are meeting regularly in hotel rooms. Warned by her to stay away from her daughter Elaine, his father goads him into taking her out on a date. He finds he quite likes Elaine but when she learns he's been having an affair with her own mother, she'll have nothing to do with him. He's smitten however and pursues her.

Black Christmas (1986)

In the 50's, the boy Billy is born with yellow skin due to a liver disease and his dysfunctional mother rejects him. Later he witnesses his mother and her lover killing his beloved father and burying him in the basement of their house, and he is locked in the attic alone along his childhood. When he is a teenager, he is sexually abused by his mother and she has a baby girl called Agnes. During Christmas, the deranged Billy escapes from his imprisonment, kills his mother and stepfather and blinds one eye of Agnes. He is declared insane and his sister is sent to an orphanage. In the present days, Billy escapes from the Clark Sanatorium to spend Christmas with his family. Meanwhile, his former house is the Delta Alpha Kappa sorority house in the campus of the Clement University, and the housemother and the sisters Kelli Presley, Dana Mathis, Lauren Hannon, Heather Fitzgerald, Megan Helms, Melissa Kitt and Eve Agnew are preparing the house for Christmas in a stormy night while Clair Crosby is in her room writing a card to bury the hatchet with her sister. When three sisters vanish, the others receive weird phone calls and believe something is wrong, but they find that they are trapped in the location.

Scream (2002)

Like the original movie 35 years ago, a teenage girl is at home alone when the phone rings. A man wants to play a game with her. With the threat of killing her best friend, Tara's forced to play along. She barely survives the ghost face masked intruder's stabbing. Her 5 year older sister, Sam(antha), who left home at 18 due to mental problems, Sam's boyfriend and Tara's high school friends visit her at the hospital. Later on in a bar, a guy provokes the friends and is later attacked outside in the parking lot by Ghostface. Sam receives a call from him at the hospital and then he unsuccessfully attacks her. She later reveals family secrets to her sister. Sam contacts one of the original victims, Dewey, for help. He warns two other original victims, Sidney Prescott and Gale Weathers, about Ghostface being back. Who is Ghostface? How many more must die?

M3GAN (1983)

When Gemma suddenly becomes the caretaker of her orphaned 8-year-old niece, Cady, Gemma's unsure and unprepared to be a parent. Under intense pressure at work, Gemma decides to pair her M3GAN prototype with Cady in an attempt to resolve both problems-a decision that will have unimaginable consequences.

Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker (2016 Remake)

Seventeen-year-old high school senior Billy Lynch was raised by his maternal aunt, Cheryl Roberts, with whom he has lived since the age of three when his parents died in a tragic accident. Aunt Cheryl has not dated over that time; she and Billy have lived alone in the big old house next to the woods. Billy hopes to get a basketball scholarship to the University of Denver, where his girlfriend Julie Linden will be attending. Aunt Cheryl, in her possessiveness of Billy, doesn't let Julie into the house and doesn't want Billy to go away to college. What those around her don't know is that Cheryl is deranged and will do whatever it takes to keep Billy all to herself. What Billy also does not know is that there is an unknown third in his and Aunt Cheryl's relationship, that third who is either the cause of or has exacerbated her derangement. Aunt Cheryl's actions lead to Billy being implicated in a murder, Billy's plea of innocence is not helped by the narrow-mindedness of the lead police detective, hyper-masculine Lieutenant Joe Carlson. Billy, those close to him, and anyone who gets too close to discovering the truth about Aunt Cheryl could be in danger at her hands in the process.

Potential actors who could down the line portray the future titular Father in the HIMYM spin-off How I Met Your Father given that he hasn't already appeared on the show. Some of the casting choices are probably gonna be unlikely but one can dream/

If Clay decides to listen to the recordings, he will find out if and how he made the list. This intricate and heart-wrenching tale is told through Clay and Hannah's dual narratives.

Woodsboro Beauty

Prequel to the original Scream exploring the tragic backstory of Maureen Prescott, mother of the legendary Scream heroine Sidney Prescott. starting in the early 70's when a young Maureen Roberts was a happy-go-lucky aspiring actress looking to make a break in Hollywood only to attend a certain party that unfortunately led to a vicious sexual assault by multiple men that would forever change her life, not only resulting in an unwanted pregnancy but would also ultimately lead her to make bad choices that would also not only spark the events of her untimely murder decades later but would also go on to affect the life of her daughter. Takes place from the early 70's right down to her brutal murder in 1995. The movie ends with Maureen's dead body being taken away and Billy comforting an inconsolable Sidney with Billy hugging her whilst smirking at the audience while Sidney's back is turned. What follows is a slight reenactment of the opening scene of the original Scream with Casey Becker preparing for a movie night in when suddenly the phone rings and Casey answers it then the credits roll.

Scream

They later learned the calls were coming from a crazed serial killer, in a white faced mask and a large black robe, looking for revenge. Her phone calls usually consist of many questions, the main one being: What's your favorite scary movie? Along with much scary movie trivia, ending with bloody pieces of innocent lives scattered around the small town of Woodsboro.

She runs back to her stepmother's diner before she knows she went to the dance and drops her phone on the way. Austin finds it and starts a search for his Cinderella.
