The Last Son of Krypton

Clark is shocked to discover another surviving Kryptonian on Earth, and is even more surprised to learn that the survivor is his cousin, Kara Zor-El, who is on the run from a bounty hunter named Lobo. After fighting Lobo, Clark learns that he was hired by a Kryptonian general named Zod, who wanted her for some strange purpose. Zod soon arrives on Earth himself, where he reveals that he plans to terraform Earth into a New Krypton.

Nightmare of the Batman

The Joker has escaped from Arkham Asylum and has teamed up with Dr. Jonathan Crane, a deranged former psychiatrist better known as "the Scarecrow". Together, the two villains plan to make use of Scarecrow's fear-inducing toxin to engulf Gotham City in terror. Aiding them are the Joker's new sidekick, Punchline, and a pair of mutated criminals, whom Dr. Crane has offered to cure in return for their help. Batman doesn't yet realize it, but he is at his most vulnerable...and on the way, he will learn the true meaning of fear.

Their first challenge comes in the form of the Cult of the Cold Flame, who are dead set on kidnapping a young boy named Timothy Hunter, who is destined to become the greatest sorcerer in the world, so he can rule over a new world order where magic and sorcery are supreme.
