Biography

Victoria Lee Soto (November 4, 1985 — December 14, 2012) was an American teacher who died during the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School. After shooter Adam Lanza entered the school, Soto hid her students. When they ran out of hiding, according to press reports, she received four bullets and died trying to cover the children with her body. For example, ACERO High School in Chicago, Illinois, and a memorial site in Stratford are named after Soto.
