Vanessa Do Ceu Carreira (Boksburg, 1983) is a South African model, elected Miss South Africa 2001. She later represented South Africa in Miss Universe 2002, which was held on May 29, 2002 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The model finished in fourth place, but when the winner, the Russian Oxana Fedorova gave up the title and her place was taken by the second placed, Justine Pasek, the South African model consequently became the third place in the competition.
The South African model has a bachelor's degree in art and communication from the University of South Africa. Currently Vanessa Carreira is co-owner of the Taboo Night Club, a famous Johannesburg club, which she manages together with her husband Chris Coutroulis, whom she married in 2007.
