Tubanti

The Tubanti are a humanoid fish people living the large lake in the land of Gorhan Wed, Pangea in the Savage Land. Their existence remained hidden from most of the other inhabitants of Pangea until recent years. They are one of the various Beast-Men races created by the ancient Atlanteans that inhabited various parts of the Savage Land. They are fish-like in appearance and are adapted for an aquatic life style. They, like all the Beast-Men, were created using the Nuwali's left behind technology. The Tubanti as a race are easily manipulated by others and they briefly served the demon Belasco when he tried to conquer the Savage Land. They allied with the Lemurans and many other races.[1] Tooby was a member of this race and was close friends with Matty Plunder the son of Ka-Zar and Zahmis of the monkey-like Tree People. These three would regularly play in the jungles of the Savage Land. [2] The Tubanti were represented on the United Council of Tribes.[2]
