The Magician (1998 TV Series)

The Magician (Fr. Le Magicien) is a 1998 French animated superhero television series created by Florian Ferrier, Savin Yeatman, and Gilles Adrien that was produced by Gaumont Multimédia, now under the ownership of Xilam Animation. The show centers on Ace Cooper, a crimefighting stage magician from the third millennium in Electro City, a futuristic city in the grasp of many crime syndicates, mostly from Black Jack Malone, the most powerful crime boss in the city, whose crimes and schemes are all thwarted by Cooper as his crimefighting alter ego, the Magician all the while working with the Electro City Police Department in wanting to bring down Black Jack and his rule in the criminal underworld.
