Albert Shaw (also known as "Wild Bill" and "The Grabber") is the central antagonist of "The Black Phone" films. A disturbed mechanic with the power to communicate with ghosts, he would kidnap, assault and murder multiple preteen boys for his own sadistic pleasure. After going through five victims in three years, the Grabber would be killed by Finn Blake, his latest abductee who heard the ghosts of his previous victims.
His ghost would drift towards a camp in the mountains, where he had murdered his first victims. He would draw power from their fear until remembering his death, to which he lured Finn and his sister Gwen to the camp to murder them. However, they were able to find the bodies of his first victims, sending him back to Hell.
