Biography

Tara Nichols is the main character of Pala Mepaj's story "Tara's Story". Tara is a woman living during the American Revolution. When the war breaks out, she joins a group of Patriots, led by Roger Corcoran. She is known for her beauty, and as a spy, it becomes one of the methods she uses to get information regarding the British (it paticularly works on their leader, General James Braithwaite). Unfortunately, she one day is caught by the British and is jailed in the Tower of London, as she's sentenced to death. Despite her situation, she never shows fear and remains defiant, calling out Braithwaite, saying the British Empire will fall, and even seducing the executioner in hopes of delaying her potential doom. On the trip, she also becomes close to Edward Phillips, the only Brit who is nice to her, they fall for each other, and Edward works in tandem with Roger to rescue her
