Tamar Greene is an American actor, singer, and pianist. He's known for currently playing the role of George Washington in the Broadway Production of Hamilton. He has previously been in the ensemble of the Love Never Dies US tour, a fisherman in the Porgy and Bess national tour. Raised in Rochester, he went to School of the Arts, then attended Monroe Community College, then the State University of New York at Oswego, then to the Eastman School of Music, where he was a William Warfield Scholarship recipient.
