Talia Rothenberg is a nice Jewish girl born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico (¡pa’ que tu lo sepas!) A U.S. Presidential Scholar, she was selected by the Department of Education as 1 of 161 of the nation's most distinguished high school students. Upon graduating from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, her first short, BAD HABITS, premiered at the 2014 Cannes Short Film Corner. Her digital series MRS. which she co-created, produced, and starred in streamed originally on Facebook to over 125K views. Her staffing credits include Netflix’s REBELDE and Nickelodeon’s Emmy nominated SANTIAGO OF THE SEAS. She has sold and developed pilots for Sony, eOne, and ABC Signature. Talia is currently writing a feature film adaptation of Lilliam Rivera’s supernatural, YA romance, NEVER LOOK BACK, for Amazon Studios. Zetna Fuentes will direct and Romeo Santos will write original music and executive produce. Talia’s carved herself a niche in music-centric projects built around Latinidad, but she’s excited to build an empire around Latines in the commercial mainstream.
