Stephan Ernst Johann Mayer (born 15 December 1973) is a German lawyer and politician of the Christian Social Union (CSU) who has been a member of the German Bundestag since 2002. Since 2022, he has also been serving as the Secretary General of the CSU, under the leadership of the party’s chairman Markus Söder.[1]
