Stelios Mainas is a Greek actor. He graduated Veakis Drama School in 1982 and has been working as a stage, cinema and television actor ever since. His first film role was in the 1984 movie Loafing and Camouflage. In later years, he worked as an actor in many of the central and regional Theaters of Athens and the province. He became more widely known with his participation in the television series Oi men and the ones who don't" and the movie Balkanizer. In 2015 he won the best actor award at the Hellenic Film Academy Awards for his role in the film Wednesday 04:45.
