Sofia Oxenham is a British actress, born in France and raised in Cornwall, who graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in 2017. She rose to prominence for her role as the rebellious Tess Tregidden in the final series of the BBC historical drama Poldark (2019) and gained further international acclaim as Carrie in the Disney+ superhero comedy series Extraordinary (2023–2024), a performance that earned her a BAFTA nomination for Female Performance in a Comedy Programme in 2024. Her television career includes notable appearances in Netflix's Cursed, the BBC’s Dracula, and the Prime Video dramatization A Very Royal Scandal (2024), where she portrayed Princess Eugenie.
