Skywalker Hughes, a dual American and Canadian citizen, found her love of acting at a very young age. Her professional career took off when she began auditioning and was almost immediately cast as Sheridan Pickett, a series regular, on the new Paramount Plus mystery series, "Joe Pickett (2021)". Skywalker Hughes is a American-Canadian film and TV actress who and from a young age displayed a knack for the performing arts. She began her professional career in 2021 as Sheridan Pickett, a series regular, on the Paramount Plus series, Joe Pickett and, since then, has made a name for herself working alongside some of the biggest names in Hollywood. Skywalker has several exciting projects in the works! In 2024 Skywalker was flown to NewZealand to play a lead role in Andrew Niccol's upcoming feature I, Object, alongside Anna Farris. She then went on to spend the fall of 2024 working on a new Netflix series in British Columbia, Canada and most recently has been filming on a project in Northern Ontario. Skywalker is also part of the lead cast of the highly acclaimed Fox anthology series, Accused. She stars alongside Oscar winner Keith Carradine, making history as the series first lead young actor! Additionally, Skywalker plays the lead role of Ashley Schmitt on the Lionsgate feature film Ordinary Angels opposite Hilary Swank and Alan Ritchson and she rounds out the main cast of Academy Award winner Andrew Stanton's In the Blink of an Eye alongside Kate McKinnon which has a highly anticipated 2025 release. When Skywalker is not acting you will most likely find her writing a script, horseback riding, dancing, singing or kickboxing! Her ethnicity is of Puerto Rican (paternal grandmother), Scottish, English, Irish, likely Hungarian descent.
