Skeet (The Hollow)

Bernard, better known by his nickname Skeet, is one of the three main antagonists in Season 1 of The Hollow and later, one of the six protagonists in Season 2 until his death. He is a player in the game with the ability to run at superhuman speeds. He and his teammates Vanessa and Reeve, are a rival team opposes to Adam, Mira, and Kai in Season 1. Physical Appearance Skeet has light skin, blond hair, and a pointed nose. He wears a red beanie, a green T-shirt with a black skull on it, maroon pants, and black sneakers. Personality Skeet's temperament is generally laid-back, though he is deliberately stand-offish to Adam and Mira in the first season. He takes a liking to Kai’s powers and jokes, despite being on rival teams. Within his team, he sometimes acts as a mediator when Reeve and Vanessa are in conflict. History Throughout the Series In "Ishibo," Skeet steals the Ishibo from Adam. In "Undead," Skeet and his teammates become formally acquainted with their rival team. In "The Riddle," Skeet and his teammates, accompanied by Kai, traverse the Cactus Desert. The Weird Guy teleports them to the ̇Northern Tundra where the ice monster imprisons them in ice. In "Ice," Adam, Mira, and Kai save Skeet, Reeve, and Vanessa from the ice monster. They attack Adam and escape with the Ishibo. In "Cocoon," Skeet fights Kai in the Battle for the Ishibo. In "Colrath," Skeet and his teammates lose the game of The Hollow. In "The Return," Skeet is captured by the parrot people and offered as a sacrifice to Cherufe. He escapes with Adam and Kai. After seeing the Unnamed Team disintegrate, Skeet insists on trying to kill his avatar claiming that he'll wake up in the real world when his avatar dies, and he encourages the others to do the same. In "Puzzled," Skeet tries to kill his avatar by jumping off the edge in the Puzzle World, but this attempt is unsuccessful. Later in the episode, he is killed by Louie under Voulcan's control while saving Mira. She, Adam, and Kai hold a burial for him. Relationships Reeve and Vanessa In Season 1, Skeet, Reeve, and Vanessa are teammates. Skeet sometimes acts as a mediator between Vanessa and Reeve when they are in conflict. Reeve is Skeet's closest friend. Skeet seems to be the only person that Reeve likes. In Season 2, Skeet never gets the chance to reconnect with his teammates before he dies. Kai Although Skeet has a somewhat antagonistic relationship with Kai in Season 1, he admits his fondness of Kai to Reeve. Skeet admires Kai's superpowers and sense of humor. There are, however, times when Kai annoys him. The two fight each other in the Battle for the Ishibo. When they meet again in Season 2, they begin to work together. Kai and Adam save him from Cherufe. Kai saves Skeet's life in ”Puzzled,” but Skeet is unappreciative. Mira Skeet and Mira do not interact much in Season 1. Once their memories return in Season 2, they remember they have been friends since preschool. Skeet hints that he has or had a crush on Mira, but Mira only sees him as a close friend. Skeet gave her the nickname "Meerkat," and Mira gave him the nickname "Skeet." Mira is the person most devastated by Skeet's death. Adam Although Adam and Skeet do not interact much in Season 1, they share a common experience of noticing the glitch first while their teammates initially disbelieve them. The two develop a friendship in Season 2 after Adam and Kai save him from Cherufe. Adam saves his life on more than one occasion. Powers Superhuman Speed: Skeet can run at superhuman speeds making him elusive and difficult to attack.
