Silesaurus was a genus of dinosauriforms, reptiles closely related to dinosaurs, that lived in Poland during the Late Triassic period, about 230 million years ago. Measuring around 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) long, it was a lightly built, agile animal with a narrow snout and a keratinous beak, though it also had small, serrated teeth. While initially thought to be a herbivore, fossilized droppings (coprolites) containing beetle remains suggest it was an omnivore, possibly feeding on insects and plants.
