Sheron Mancilha Menezes (Porto Alegre, November 26, 1983) is a Brazilian actress. She has Afro-Brazilian, indigenous and Portuguese ancestry. The actress debuted on TV Globo in the soap opera Esperança, in April 2002, with the approval of director Luiz Fernando Carvalho, who was impressed with her test and suggested to the author, Benedito Ruy Barbosa, to change the age of the character, Júlia, initially older, so that it could be interpreted by the then newcomer. Sheron then won the role of the sweet and haughty Júlia, bastard daughter of the coffee baron, deceased husband of Francisca Iron Hand, Lúcia Veríssimo's character, who lived on the farm as a family employee. Júlia ends up marrying an outsider, Zangão, played by Jackson Antunes. Júlia was well received by the public and ended up earning Sheron three awards for her work and an invitation from director Luiz Antonio Pilar to act in the theater. In November 2020, after choosing not to renew her contract, she left TV Globo after more than 18 years on the network's acting staff. Then, the actress was confirmed in the cast of the national series Maldivas, on Netflix, as one of the protagonists alongside Bruna Marquezine, Manu Gavassi, Carol Castro and Natália Klein. After a 20-year career on television, Sheron was confirmed as the protagonist of a soap opera for the first time when she won the role of "Sol" in the soap opera Vai na Fé, in the 7pm soap opera slot on TV Globo, the plot written by Rosane Svatman addresses the life of Solange (Sol), a middle-class evangelical, who dreams of pursuing a career as a funk/pop singer. This is the actress's second partnership with Svartman, who also worked together on Bom Sucesso.
