Shannon Dawn Wright (August 26, 1965 - March 24, 1998) was an American teacher who got killed in the Westside Middle School shooting. On March 24, 1998, Wright was teaching her sixth grade class at Westside Middle School, when Golden pulled the fire alarm and waited, along with his friend Johnson, for the students to come. After they came, they began to shoot staff and students. Shannon died shielding one of her students that day. They killed 4 students and 1 teacher and injured 9 students and 1 teacher.
