Rodrigo Obregón (1951–2019) was a prominent Colombian actor who operated at both a national and international level, becoming one of the first Colombian actors to establish a consistent career in Hollywood. He specialized in supporting roles within the action and thriller genres, notably appearing alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Collateral Damage (2002) and Franco Nero in Django 2 (1987). In the United States, he was a staple of Andy Sidaris’ action films, such as Savage Beach (1989) and Picasso Trigger (1988), while on a national level in Colombia, he held a memorable recurring role as Anastasio Espuelas in the classic series Escalona. He was the son of two of Colombia's most celebrated artists, painter Alejandro Obregón and choreographer Sonia Osorio.
