Razan Debs is a German-Lebanese actress and mezzo-soprano singer born in Damascus, Syria. She trained at the Higher Institute for Dramatic Arts in Damascus and holds a Master’s degree in Arts and Cultural Relations, with studies in Barcelona, Venice, and Montpellier.
She appeared in the feature film “Gate of Heaven” (2009) and later in independent projects including “Brass ’n’ Beans” (2021). In 2024–2025, she was cast in Tom Tykwer’s feature film “Das Licht”, produced by X Filme. Her television work includes “SOKO Leipzig” (ZDF).
Alongside acting, Debs is an accomplished singer and guitarist, with vocal contributions to Sting’s album “57th & 9th”. Fluent in six languages, she works across film, television, theatre, and music and is based between Berlin and Marseille.
