Biography

"Ratatata" (stylized in all caps) is a song by Japanese kawaii metal band Babymetal and German Metal band Electric Callboy. It was released as a single on May 23, 2024. It was later used as the main theme for WWE's 2024 PPV Bash in Berlin. The two bands later collaborated on an interactive mobile game, featuring "Ratatata" as the only song on its soundtrack. The song is featured in the WWE 2k25 soundtrack. On May 16, 2024, a teaser video surprisingly announced that the two bands would collaborate on new music. It was simultaneously announced that a single entitled "Ratatata" would be released the following week, on May 23. They debuted the song live together for the first time two days after the songs release on May 25 in Saitama, Japan as part of Babymetal's Fox Fest.
