Poison Ivy (Gotham)

Ivy Pepper[2] is the daughter of the late Mario and Alice Pepper. She has an unhealthy obsession with plants, often finding more comfort and affection from them than in people. She became an orphan when her father was shot by Harvey Bullock in defense of James Gordon's life, causing her mother to commit suicide. She was then left on the streets homeless, and became sickly until Selina Kyle befriended her and showed her the ropes to Gotham's underworld. One day, Ivy followed Selina to her meeting with Fish Mooney and her gang but got mistaken for a spy so Mooney had the monster Marv chase her and use his power, rapidly aging Ivy to her 20s whilst she fell into the river. Ivy now discovered that with her older appearance, she could use her plant-based perfumes to seduce people into giving her whatever she wanted, thus becoming a thief routinely stealing valuable items. After saving Oswald Cobblepot's life from the river and nursing him back to health, she became his right-hand woman in the criminal underworld filling the void left after the betrayal of Edward Nygma. However, after feeling like she wasn't being taken seriously, Ivy took some potions that altered her appearance and gifted her with poisonous powers. Becoming known by titles such as The Witch and Poison Ivy, she has used her new abilities and knowledge of plant-life to become an extremely dangerous eco-terrorist.
