Biography
Peter Barber is an American bass singer, actor, and content creator. He's a graduate of the prestigious Academy of Vocal Arts. In 2025, he will be performing Colline in La Bohème and the King of Egypt in Aida with Arizona Opera, Sarastro in The Magic Flute with First Coast Opera, Basilio in The Barber of Seville with Druid City Opera, and Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte at the Aspen Music Festival as a Renée Fleming studio artist. Peter has spent multiple summers performing with The Santa Fe Opera, the Aspen Music Festival, and Music Academy of the West. At this point, he has performed over 30 operatic roles. Outside of opera, Peter has gained over 250,000 YouTube subscribers for his in-depth musical analysis, covers, and conversations with voice professionals, including; Lisette Oropesa, Tim Foust, Janet Varney, Geoff Castellucci, Teagan Earley, Luke Holt, Mako, Ekaterina Shelehova, Eric Whitacre, Big Brev, Serena Belle, Bobby Bass, and many others. Peter is also a founding member of award-winning musical group, The Bass Gang. They have released four EPs, as well as numerous singles, amassing over 20 million views/streams between YouTube and Spotify alone.
