Oleg Fomin

Born on May 21, 1962, in Tambov, Oleg Fomin is a prolific Russian actor and director known for his high-energy performances and his skill in directing fast-paced, genre-defining television and film. A graduate of the Shchepkin Higher Theatre School, he first achieved cult status in the late 1980s as the lead in the gritty youth drama My Name is Harlequin (1988), which became a symbol of the Perestroika era.
