Soji Okita is the captain of the first unit of the Shinsengumi, a special police force in Kyoto during the late shogunate period. He is one of the best swordsmen of the Shinsengumi. He's set to fight in a future match of Ragnarok. Soji's design and personality are taken from "Chiruran: Shinsengumi Requiem", a series that's also written by UMEMURA Shinya, one of "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok" authors. It also runs in the same magazine as "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie: Record of Ragnarok".
