Nikita Knatz was a Russian-American storyboard artist best known for his work on Batman Returns (1992). He was also an occasional actor, often appearing in minor roles as tough guys due to his tall, burly frame and his powerful baritone voice, perhaps most notably as Gromolsky, the ostensibly intimidating but boisterous, friendly Russian submarine commander in his film debut The Russians Are Coming, the Russians Are Coming (1966).
