One of the main characters from the American action crime drama television series L.A.'s Finest (2019-2020), portrayed by Jessica Alba. Detective Nancy McKenna is a working stepmother, and secretly a former career criminal when she was Nancy Perez, who is Syd's new partner in the LAPD. Prior to the LAPD, Nancy served in the U.S. Navy as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician and was awarded both the Navy Cross and Purple Heart (per season 2). She is married to Patrick McKenna and helps to raise his daughter, Isabel McKenna. She is one of the protagonists of LA's Finest. When she was a teenager, she and Dante Sherman would rob corner stores. Dante was shot while robbing the last one and was arrested. He never told who his accomplice/get-away driver was. Nancy then went onto the Navy. And soon after Dante got out of jail, he got a call that told him to go to Nancy's apartment. Turns out, one of the siblings shot their mom. Later on it is revealed that Nico shot her after witnessing her physically abusing his older sister.
