Nam Jeong-im

Nam Jeong-im (July 21, 1945 – September 2, 1992) was a South Korean actress. Nam was commonly referred to as one of the "Troika" along with her rival actresses, Yoon Jeong-hee and Moon Hee of the 1960s and early 1970s. At the beginning of her film debut, she competed with Ko Eun-ah, who debuted around the same time, but after Moon Hee gained popularity, and Yoon Jeong-hee debuted, opening the 'Troika' era in earnest. Among the troika, Yoon Jung-hee showed off her versatility by embracing both good and bad roles, and Moon Hee mainly showed the sadness of playing a woman who is abandoned with her tearful acting, while Nam Jung-im showed off her cheerfulness with her pretty face and unique liveliness. Most of her roles at the beginning of her debut were bright and cheerful.
